Mercury ARI Athletic Support Structure 2016
An athletic assistive device designed to support runners by limiting the high impact forces experienced by their lower extremities during aerobic exercise.
Design & Fabrication
This project features a handmade, working model. Parts were shaped using digital prototyping tools such as 3D scanners, 3D printers, 3-axis CNC and vinyl cutter. Files were prepared using VX Elements, Meshmixer, Solidworks, Fusion 360 and Adobe Illustrator. Much of the rest of the work took place between the woodshop and metal lab, using pretty well every tool in them.
Onyx Stage Lighting System I 2016
Lighting designed to empower the independent creative community by making compelling, personalized stage lighting more accessible in small spaces. Concept would project rotating lighting effects using custom paper shades.
Design & Fabrication
Model features acrylic, walnut, steel and leather components, as well as working electronics and lighting.

Warby Parker 2017
"Percey" frames measured in detail and recreated in Solidworks as CAD exercise. 3D print and source material pictured above for reference of accuracy.
Scan to Print Display 2017
Display showcasing how the design process can incorporate 3D scanning and rapid prototyping technology at Carleton University. Completed during an internship with the School of Industrial Design. Clay sculpted helmet recreated in CAD and 3D printed to scale.
